Carmel Software Announces Update to HVAC Controls and Smart Grid Estimating Software

San Rafael, CA, January 8, 2010 � Carmel Software is pleased to announce a major update to the Controls Estimate 2.0 software. This is an enterprise cost estimating software tool for HVAC controls companies, building automation system vendors and resellers, and Smart Grid device installers. It allows users to quickly and accurately create cost estimates and customized proposals. It includes three modules that comprise the entire software suite, including:

An estimating software tool that allows the controls engineer, contractor, or installer to create accurate cost estimates and proposals.
A parts requisition software tool that allows the parts personnel to keep track of parts that are ordered for the job.
A central database tool that allows the user to manage all data required by the estimating and parts requisition modules including customer, vendor, parts, and other types of information.
