Carmel Software announces that it has developed a customized web-based heat load calculator for Rinnai America Corporation. Designed to work on any desktop, laptop, and mobile device, the Rinnai Heat Load Calculator allows potential clients to perform a simple heat loss calculation on a small building or home, select the appropriate Rinnai equipment, then receive a PDF report detailing their inputs and results. Customers get an idea of what type of equipment is required to heat their building or home, and Rinnai America receives a potential client lead that they are able to follow-up on.

The Rinnai Heat Load Calculator also includes the following functionality:

  1. Allows the user to select from 1000+ locations throughout the US and Canada (for purposes of establishing local weather conditions)
  2. Allows the user to model an entire house or small building by creating 1 or more walls, doors, roofs, floors, and windows
  3. Includes a database of 100s of different envelope and window types
  4. After heat loss values have been calculated, the user is able to select from 1 or more suggested Rinnai boilers or furnaces
  5. Generates a PDF report detailing the calculated results and selected Rinnai equipment
The Rinnai Heat Load Calculator is available at heatload.rinnai.us.

"We are proud to have developed such a versatile web application for Rinnai America. It is well suited for clients looking to perform simple heating equipment selection, and it also allows Rinnai personnel to follow up on potential sales leads," says Stephen Roth, Principal of Carmel.
